  • Dormancy fee is EUR 10 per month, on the lower end

🎁 Bonuses & Promotions

The single most expensive clause here, and it is easy to miss.

Clause 1e: "The maximum bet with an active bonus is 5 EUR/USD. Purchasing any game features (including but not limited to respins) will add to your bet amount. If the player exceeds the maximum bet when the bonus is active, SafeCasino reserves the right to confiscate the winnings."

A feature buy is a bet. Buy a bonus round for €20 while any bonus is active, and you have placed a €20 bet against a €5 ceiling. One player on this casino's review page did exactly that and lost a balance of roughly €1,000. The breakdown is in the review below.

Welcome offer

100% up to €1,000, plus a bonus game and 300 free spins.

Wagering is 40x on all deposit bonuses, and 40x on no deposit and free spin bonuses unless stated otherwise.

Minimum deposit for a bonus: €20 under clause 1f, which is double the €10 site minimum. A €10 deposit will not qualify you.

The one clause genuinely in your favour

Clause 1c caps winnings from cashback, comp points, tournaments, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus at €10,000 — "except for welcome bonus".

So the welcome offer carries no maximum cashout. That makes it the only bonus on the site worth taking for a serious win.

No deposit bonuses cap at €50, and the restriction survives completion of the wagering. Full verification plus a minimum €20 deposit are required before withdrawal.

No deposit free spins must be activated within 3 days, with 7 days to wager.

Game contribution

Game typeContribution
Slots, excluding the excluded list and all jackpot games 100%
Table games and live dealer 0%

Not five percent. Nothing. Every jackpot game is excluded too, along with several hundred titles across roughly thirty providers — including Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2, Reel Steal, The Wish Master, Book of Shadows, Jammin' Jars 2, Wild Swarm, Hellcatraz, Tomb Raider, Medusa and Stardust.

Other rules

Real money is wagered first, then bonus money.

Clause 2f: you may withdraw your deposit before completing the wagering, but the bonus and any winnings from it are forfeited.

Clause 2d: cancelling a bonus after you have started wagering removes both the bonus and the winnings gained with it.

Bonuses auto-cancel when the tied balance drops to €0.05 or less.

One bonus per person, email, browser, device and IP address. One bonus at a time, and deposit bonuses do not stack.

Clause 1l: free spin winnings require you to have wagered the qualifying deposit at least three times, excluding table games.

Clause 1m is worth noting: if a deposit bonus fails to activate and you start playing, it cannot be added manually afterwards. Contact support before you spin.

Bonus abuse is defined in clause 3c as a bonus to wager ratio above 40 percent.

Japan and Georgia are excluded from all deposit bonuses.

Sportsbook

Sports bets require only 1x deposit turnover before withdrawal, against 3x for casino play. Maximum winnings are €100,000 per bet, €250,000 per day and €500,000 per week. Minimum stake €0.10.

Sports disputes must be lodged within 7 days of settlement, and claims are reviewed within 30 days.

📝 Full Review

The one thing to know before you claim a bonus here

Buying a bonus feature counts as a bet. The maximum bet while any bonus is active is €5, and clause 1e states explicitly that purchasing game features adds to your bet amount.

A player on this casino's review page bought a feature for over €20 with 10 free spins active, built a balance of roughly €1,000, and had the entire balance confiscated. Not just the bonus. Everything. He checked afterwards and concluded the casino had not breached its own terms. We checked too, and he is right.

SafeCasino runs a casino and sportsbook serving Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It has been operating since at least March 2024 based on the effective date in its terms.

Our test

Author's test: Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed. The site works well.

The withdrawal took four days. Section 14 states a request "may take up to 3 days to process". Ours went over that.

One day past a stated maximum is not a scandal, and the money arrived without us chasing it. But a casino that publishes a three day figure should hit it, and several reviewers describe much longer waits than ours.

The feature buy trap

This is the most useful thing in this review, and it applies at dozens of casinos beyond this one.

What happened

An Irish player describes signing up, depositing, and winning around €1,100. He verified his account successfully and requested a withdrawal of most of it, leaving a balance to keep playing with.

He then received an email saying he had breached the terms. The withdrawal was cancelled and his balance replaced with his last deposit of €23.

He investigated and published the detail in an update, which is what makes this case worth reading:

The casino gave him his game history. He had received 10 free spins at 20c each, worth €2 against a total balance of €40 — under 5 percent of his funds.

While that bonus was active, he bought a game feature for more than €20 and turned the balance into roughly €1,000.

His own conclusion: "I actually dont think that Safe Casino breached its own terms, the problem is that its terms are pretty insane and designed to avoid you getting money off the site."

We read clause 1e and he is correct. The maximum bet with an active bonus is €5. The clause continues: "Purchasing any game features (including but not limited to respins) will add to your bet amount." Clause 3j repeats it.

A €20 feature buy against a €5 ceiling is a four times breach, and the clause permits confiscating the winnings.

Why this catches people

Three things combine, and none of them is obvious while you are playing.

A feature buy does not look like a bet. It looks like a purchase. The game presents it as unlocking something, and the number on screen is not in the "bet" field.

Nothing stops you. This is the player's central complaint and it is fair: "there is nothing in the product which stops you." The casino does not disable feature buys during bonus play, does not cap them at €5, and does not warn you. Some casinos lock excluded games entirely while a bonus is active — AzurSlot, which we reviewed separately, does exactly that. SafeCasino does not.

The bonus can be tiny. His free spins were worth €2. A €2 bonus was enough to put a €5 ceiling on every bet he made, including a €20 feature buy made later.

The casino's reply

SafeCasino responded publicly: he had committed a breach by exceeding the maximum allowed bet while the bonus was active, the conditions are outlined in the bonus terms, and support would review the case if he believed there was a misunderstanding.

That is a correct answer to the narrow question, and more than several casinos in our rankings provide. It does not address the broader point, which is that the entire balance was taken rather than the winnings attributable to the bonus.

What to actually do

Never buy a game feature while any bonus is active. Not a deposit bonus, not free spins, not a cashback credit. Check your bonus balance before you click a feature buy button.

If you want to play feature buys, clear or decline the bonus first. Clause 2d lets you cancel a bonus before wagering starts without losing your own funds. Clause 2f lets you withdraw your deposit, forfeiting only the bonus.

And treat the €5 ceiling as covering everything. Clause 3j adds that bet doubling after a round also counts.

Our bonus terms decoder covers the max bet clause and why it voids more winnings across this industry than any other rule.

Currency: no AUD, NZD or CAD

This matters for every reader of this page, and it is a single line in section 3.

"The website allows playing for the following currencies: EUR, USD."

That is the complete list. No Australian, New Zealand or Canadian dollar, despite all three being the markets this casino serves.

What it costs. Your bank converts on the way in and again on the way out, typically two to three percent each way plus any international transaction fee. On AU$300 deposited and AU$600 withdrawn, roughly AU$20 to AU$30 disappears before the casino takes anything.

Every figure in the bonus terms is also quoted in EUR and USD only, with no local equivalents — unlike most casinos serving these markets, which at least publish AU$ and NZ$ versions of the max bet and cashout caps.

Card payouts are also a problem

Section 14 names the supported countries, and the lists are specific.

For Visa, these countries are not supported: USA, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore.

The Mastercard supported list covers Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Australia, Canada and New Zealand appear on neither list. Read together, card withdrawals look unavailable across all three markets.

Set up an alternative before you win. Skrill, Neteller and crypto are mentioned in the terms. Wire transfer carries a €500 minimum, so for ordinary wins that leaves e-wallets or crypto. One reviewer confirms the crypto route works: "ETH in, played through a Hacksaw session, swapped to GBP, withdrew in USDT. VPN running the whole time. Nothing flagged, nothing held."

What the terms do not say

We read the full document and found no operator and no licence.

Absent from the document:

  • ×  The operating company's name, registration number or address
  • ×  A licence number or the name of a regulator
  • ×  A governing law clause
  • ×  A jurisdiction or arbitration clause
  • ×  Any named dispute resolution body

Section 17 refers to a regulator the terms never identify: if a dispute is not resolved at management level, "you can contact any independent body, gaming authority or the licensing regulator listed on the Website."

One player on the review page states he was escalating to Curacao gaming, which suggests a Curacao licence exists somewhere on the site. Check the footer for a licence number before depositing. Curacao moved to a new framework in 2024, and a current Curacao Gaming Authority licence has a number in the format OGL/2024/XXX/XXXX. If you find one, the CGA accepts player complaints.

The same document appears at two other casinos

This is worth knowing because of what one of them does differently.

We have reviewed Slotrave and RoyalXO separately. All three publish the same terms document: the same 34 numbered betting rules in the same order, the same bonus terms structure 1a through 3k, the same excluded games list provider by provider, the same €4,000 daily and €50,000 monthly withdrawal ceilings, the same €12.50 account closure fee, the same 3x casino and 1x sports turnover.

Slotrave fills in the identification clause. It names Galan Operations SRL, Costa Rica registration 3-102-817852, and Kahnawake licence 00910. SafeCasino and RoyalXO use the same template with that clause removed.

We are not stating the three are connected. A shared template usually means a shared platform provider rather than shared ownership. What it does show is that the blank space in this document is a space the template provides for.

Our casino groups page maps every operator group we have identified.

The review record

SafeCasino sits at 2.9, which is low, and the profile splits unusually cleanly.

The positive reviews are specific and technical

Several read like real sessions rather than prompted praise. One describes six weeks of play: "Cleared the deposit bonus on Pragmatic slots, withdrew same day. Withdrawal overnight, no bonus verification triggered." Another: "KYC done same day. Support confirmed without me chasing." A third describes the crypto flow in detail, including a VPN running throughout.

That level of specificity is hard to fake, and it suggests the process does work smoothly for some players.

The negative reviews cluster on verification and withdrawals

A Finnish player with experience of many casinos describes being asked for three months of bank statements days after registering, having an official payslip rejected repeatedly, and withdrawal requests ignored. A player from Moldova describes a month of document requests at every withdrawal. A Latvian player describes depositing €200, winning €700, and having the account blocked without explanation.

One complaint where the casino's reply changes the picture

An Irish player described trying to withdraw €1,050 from a max win, waiting twelve days, and having the money returned to his balance twice. He then lost it all and called the site a scam.

The casino's reply was detailed and specific: the withdrawals could not be processed because the "beneficiary details provided in your withdrawal request were incomplete or incorrect, specifically the beneficiary address, city, and postal code information." The funds were returned to his balance rather than confiscated, and the record showed they were then used for further gameplay.

He disputed that his details were wrong.

We cannot resolve it, but the casino's account is plausible and checkable in a way that "they are scammers" is not. Incomplete beneficiary details genuinely do bounce bank transfers.

The practical lesson is worth taking either way: when you enter withdrawal details, fill every field completely — full street address, city and postal code exactly as your bank holds them. A rejected transfer that bounces back to your casino balance is money sitting in front of you while you wait, and that is a dangerous place for it to be.

One complaint we could not check

A Canadian player states he deposited on both a Wednesday and a Friday to claim advertised 100% reload bonuses plus 50 spins, and that neither was honoured.

Those promotions are not in the general terms, so we have no document to check his account against. Clause 1m is relevant though: if a deposit bonus fails to activate and you start playing, it cannot be added manually afterwards. Contact support before you spin, not after.

Withdrawals

  • Daily: €4,000
  • Weekly: €16,000
  • Monthly: €50,000
  • Minimum: €10
  • Stated processing: up to 3 days
  • Our actual result: 4 days

Those ceilings are mid-table in our withdrawal times comparison, and considerably better than the casinos capping at €15,000 a month.

Progressive jackpot winnings are paid in full outside every limit.

Wire transfers require €500 minimum, with intermediary bank charges up to €16.

Closing an account with a balance costs €12.50. Withdraw everything, wait for it to land, then close.

The odds requirement

A clause at the end of section 14 is easy to miss: the Security Service may refuse a withdrawal if deposits or withdrawals are inconsistent with bets placed, and "the Customer must place bets adding up to the total amount minimum odds of 1.1."

For sportsbook players that rules out hedging at very short odds to clear turnover. Combined with the 3x casino requirement, depositing and immediately withdrawing is not possible here.

Verification, and the two week clock

Photo ID, proof of payment method, proof of address within 90 days. A phone call may be required, and the terms state winnings will not be processed until it happens. An invalid or missing phone number is grounds to terminate the account and confiscate winnings. Skype video verification may also be requested.

Section 12: "If the player does not pass the procedure within two weeks, the account will be permanently closed and the winnings confiscated."

Two weeks is short when documents can be rejected and resubmitted, and several reviewers describe exactly that cycle. Complete verification the day you register, and put a working phone number on the account.

Clauses worth knowing before you deposit

VPN use is permitted

Section 9: "Using VPN is not restricted, however, it may lead to malfunction of games or connections issues." That is more honest than casinos that confiscate for it, and one reviewer confirms he played and withdrew with a VPN running throughout.

But selecting a false country at registration is still prohibited under section 2 and may lead to confiscation and permanent closure.

Third party deposits

Deposits must come from an account in your own name. A third party deposit means winnings confiscated, with the casino only "considering the possibility" of returning the deposit.

One account per person

Duplicate accounts mean termination and suspended payouts. The terms specify same browser, same IP and same playing scheme as triggers.

Dormancy at €10 per month

After 12 months without logging in, €10 monthly until the balance reaches zero. On the lower end — several casinos charge €25.

Game restrictions

Australian players cannot win NetEnt jackpots — the terms state any such win would be annulled. Canadian players cannot access NYX games, and the Vikings and Street Fighter slots are restricted in Canada.

No responsible gambling section

The terms describe no deposit limits, no loss limits, no session limits, no cooling-off period and no self-exclusion procedure.

If you need to limit or stop your play, use something independent of any casino. A bank level gambling block, or blocking software like BetBlocker, which is free. Gambling Help Online in Australia is on 1800 858 858, the Gambling Helpline in New Zealand on 0800 654 655, and ConnexOntario covers Canada.

Verdict

SafeCasino paid us. Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed, and several reviewers describe same day KYC and overnight payouts in enough technical detail to be credible. The welcome bonus carries no maximum cashout, withdrawal ceilings are reasonable at €50,000 a month, jackpots are paid in full, dormancy is only €10, and VPN use is permitted rather than punished.

What holds it at 5.0 is a combination that compounds.

The feature buy clause is the most expensive thing on this site. A €2 free spin bonus puts a €5 ceiling on every bet you make, feature buys count toward it, nothing in the interface stops you, and breaching it allows confiscation of your entire balance rather than just the bonus. One player lost roughly €1,000 to it and concluded the casino had not broken its own rules. He was right, and that is the problem.

No operator, no licence, no governing law, no dispute body. The terms refer to a regulator listed on the website without naming one anywhere. The same template at another casino fills that clause in, which makes the omission harder to read as an oversight.

And for the markets this casino serves, the practical problems stack up. Only EUR and USD accepted, so Australian, New Zealand and Canadian players pay conversion both ways. Card payouts look unavailable across all three. Table games and live dealer contribute nothing toward wagering. Verification runs against a two week clock ending in confiscation, and multiple players describe document loops inside it.

Our withdrawal also took four days against a stated three. One day over is minor, but it is the direction of travel the review page describes.

If you play here: never buy a game feature while any bonus is active, and check your bonus balance before you click one. Decline the bonus entirely if you want to play feature buys — the terms let you. Complete verification the day you register and put a working phone number on the account. Set up an e-wallet or crypto for withdrawals before you win, because card payouts look unavailable in your market. Fill every beneficiary field completely when you request a payout. Keep bonus play on slots, because table games count for nothing. And check the footer for a licence number before you deposit at all.

Compare against the alternatives in our Australian casino rankings.

A withdrawal that stalls. An account closed without explanation. Winnings confiscated. A bonus that behaved differently from the published terms. If any of that happens to you here, contact us with the dates, the amounts, and what support actually told you. Screenshots help.

This casino names no dispute body in its terms, so there is no formal route to escalate to. Our complaints guide covers the independent mediators that are left when an operator names nothing.

What we do with it: we read every report, check it against the casino's own terms, and update this review where a pattern emerges across more than one player. Ratings on this site move both ways, and player reports are part of why. Nothing identifying gets published without asking you first.

What we cannot do: we are not a mediator and have no authority over any casino. What we can do is make sure the next person reading this page knows. Casinos that did not pay us are listed here.
