Our Review Methodology
How we evaluate and score online casinos
Who Reviews the Casinos
All reviews on CasinoGuides.pro are written by Vitalii Chernenko, who has over 10 years of experience working inside the gambling industry. This means we understand how casinos operate from both sides - player-facing and operator-facing. We test casinos with real money where possible and clearly state when a review is based on publicly available information only.
What We Evaluate
Every casino is assessed across five categories, each scored from 1 to 10:
Our Testing Process
- Licence verification - we check the licence directly on the regulator's website, not just the casino's claim.
- Terms and Conditions review - we read the full T&Cs including bonus terms, withdrawal rules, account closure policies and restricted countries.
- Real money deposit - where possible we deposit real money and play across multiple game types.
- Withdrawal test - we request a real withdrawal and document the time and process.
- Support test - we contact live chat and email with specific questions and record response times.
- Player feedback review - we check Trustpilot, AskGamblers and Casinomeister for verified player reviews, focusing on patterns rather than individual outliers.
How We Score
The overall rating is a weighted average of the five category scores. Payout reliability carries the highest weight - a casino with excellent games but documented withdrawal problems will score lower overall than one with a smaller game library but consistent, fast payouts.
Casinos scoring below 6.0 overall are not listed. If a casino we already list drops below this threshold due to new information, we update the score and add a notice to the review.
Transparency on Affiliate Relationships
We earn commissions from some casinos we review. This never affects the score or the content of the review. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Review Updates
Casino terms change. We update reviews when we become aware of significant changes to bonuses, ownership, licensing status or player feedback patterns. Each review shows the date it was last updated.
