📝 Full Review

Captain Jack Casino runs on RealTime Gaming software with a pirate theme and a headline welcome package advertised up to $11,000. It is operated by Primrose Media Limited, a company registered in the Island of Anjouan, Comoros, under company number 15804, and licensed in the State of Anjouan under the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005. The casino accepts US players aged 21 and over. Australia, Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands, Spain and the UK are all blocked.

I read the full terms and conditions, dated 29 June 2026, and cross checked them against the complaint patterns on Trustpilot, AskGamblers and ComplaintsBoard. The two line up almost exactly, and that is the most useful thing I can tell you about this casino.

Personal Test

Author's test: I deposited my standard $100 and played without claiming any bonus, specifically to keep the withdrawal path clean. I lost the full deposit before I could request a payout, so I was unable to test the cashout process firsthand. That is an honest gap in this review and I will return to it. I plan to deposit again in roughly a month with the specific goal of testing a withdrawal end to end, and I will update this page with the result either way.

Until then, the payouts score of 4.0 reflects the documented complaint record and the published withdrawal terms rather than my own experience.

Games

Around 200 titles from RealTime Gaming. Slots, table games, video poker, specialty games and a set of network progressive jackpots for slots and Caribbean Poker. The RNG is certified by Technical Systems Testing, an accredited lab whose client list includes IGT and Aristocrat, so game fairness itself is not the issue at this casino.

Slot tournaments run regularly, including free rolls open to non-depositing players. Tournament prizes carry 1x wagering and 1x maximum cashout, which is reasonable.

The downloadable client is Windows only. Mac users are limited to the instant play browser version.

The Terms Clause That Causes Most Complaints

If you read one thing about Captain Jack, make it this.

Section 6.1 of the terms states that when you are playing with a balance derived from any bonus, the original rules of that bonus continue to apply even after the wagering requirement has been met. The casino explicitly reserves the right to void all funds and close the account if an excluded game is played.

Most players assume that once the playthrough is cleared, the money is theirs and the restrictions lift. At Captain Jack they do not. The list of banned games is long: Baccarat, Craps, Crash games, Pai Gow Poker, Pontoon 21, Roulette, Fish Catch and other shooting games, Sic Bo, War, Tournaments, Live Dealer and every progressive jackpot.

Read the complaints across Trustpilot and AskGamblers and this clause sits underneath a large portion of them. Players clear the wagering, switch to a table game, win, and then find the withdrawal denied. From the casino's side the terms were followed. From the player's side nobody explained that the restriction never expires. Both things are true at once.

Withdrawal Terms, Read Carefully

The published withdrawal process is slower than most players realise because it happens in two stages:

  • Stage one: your request is reviewed and approved within 7 to 10 business days.
  • Stage two: payment is sent within 7 to 10 business days after approval.

That is 14 to 20 business days end to end, which is three to four calendar weeks. Numerous complaints describe players expecting 7 to 10 days total and escalating when nothing arrives. The terms do say this, but it is split across two sections and easy to misread.

Other limits worth knowing before you play:

  • Weekly approval cap is $2,500, rising with VIP level. Larger wins are split into multiple weekly payments.
  • Monthly cap is $10,000 in normal circumstances, but drops to $5,000 if your balance is 10 times larger than your total deposits. In other words, the bigger your win relative to what you put in, the slower you get paid.
  • Minimum withdrawal is generally $100.
  • An 8 percent fee, minimum $4, applies if you request a withdrawal without wagering your deposit at least once.
  • Additional payment method fees of up to $40 or 5 percent may apply.
  • Card depositors are paid by bank wire. Crypto depositors are paid in crypto, and the casino reserves the right to use Bitcoin as the only option.
  • The casino reserves the right to reverse an approved withdrawal back into your balance.

The terms also introduce something called a Manager Withdrawal. This is the label applied when a portion of your balance is removed at approval because it was not eligible: bonus funds, or anything above a bonus maximum cashout. It appears in your history as an approved withdrawal but no money is sent. Several complaints describe confusion over exactly this.

Verification

KYC requires government photo ID, front and back images of any card used in the last three months, a selfie holding your ID or a requested object, and a utility bill dated within three months. The casino may request further documentation at any point.

The most consistent complaint theme after withdrawals is verification loops. Documents submitted, rejected for cropping or image quality, resubmitted, rejected again, with the review clock restarting each time. One documented case ran from late January to late February 2026 without resolution. Another player reported being asked to confirm their relationship with three named individuals they had never heard of.

Practical advice if you play here: photograph documents flat, in daylight, with all four corners clearly inside the frame, and send them the day you register rather than the day you want to withdraw.

Player Feedback

Captain Jack holds a 2.0 rating on Trustpilot. Its profile is at trustpilot.com/review/captainjackcasino.com.

Reading through the review pages, the pattern is consistent and it is worth being specific about what it actually is:

  • Withdrawals denied after a significant win. Multiple players describe smooth deposits and small withdrawals for months, then a large win triggering new document requests and eventual denial.
  • Bonus terms invoked at cashout. Players report being told a chip had a $100 maximum by several support agents and a manager, then being informed after clearing the playthrough that the chip had no cashout value at all.
  • Very slow payments. Where players were eventually paid, timelines of a month or more come up repeatedly. One player reported winning on 30 October and being paid on 28 November.
  • Support quality. Reports range from helpful to dismissive. One player described being told they were not important because they were not a VIP depositor, with the chat then deleted before it could be downloaded.

The casino does not respond to reviews on Trustpilot. This matters more than the score itself. A 2.0 rating with active operator engagement tells you there is a dispute process. A 2.0 rating with silence tells you there is not. Captain Jack has responded to reviews on some other platforms, but the largest public review channel goes unanswered.

ComplaintsBoard records 27 complaints with a 1.0 rating and notes the same silence. AskGamblers hosts multiple unresolved withdrawal cases including amounts of $499, $1,000, $1,700 and $14,500.

It should also be said plainly that a share of these complaints trace back to bonus terms the player did not read. The rules are published. But when a rule as unusual as permanent bonus restriction after wagering completion sits in section 6.1 of a document this long, and the operator does not engage publicly when players get caught by it, the responsibility is not entirely one sided.

Licence and Recourse

Captain Jack is licensed in Anjouan, part of the Comoros. Anjouan is among the weakest gambling jurisdictions in operation, with minimal oversight and no meaningful player protection mechanism. Section 15.3 of the terms sets the governing law as the State of Anjouan, and section 15.4 places all disputes under Comoros jurisdiction.

The practical meaning: if this casino declines to pay you, there is no regulator with the capacity or inclination to compel it.

The terms do point to the Central Dispute System, a third party service run by the software provider, as a complaints channel. That is better than nothing and is the route to use if you have a problem here.

One further note: the terms require disputes to be lodged within three days of the wager being settled. That is an extremely short window and is far tighter than the 14 day standard common elsewhere. If something goes wrong, raise it immediately in writing.

Captain Jack is associated with the Virtual Casino Group network, which AskGamblers terminated from its listings for unresponsiveness.

Banking

All wagering is in US dollars. Deposits accepted by Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and other cryptocurrencies. Crypto deposits typically confirm in under ten minutes.

Withdrawals go by bank wire for card depositors and by cryptocurrency for crypto depositors. Withdrawals cannot be returned to a credit card.

A pre-authorised deposit that is later declined caps any winnings generated from it at $200, with the excess voided.

Verdict

Captain Jack Casino has a competent RTG game library, certified RNG, a working tournament schedule and a Rewards Club offer with 1x wagering and no cashout cap that is genuinely fair. Deposits work. The site functions.

The problem is everything that happens after you win. A 2.0 Trustpilot rating with no operator response, a documented pattern of verification loops and denied payouts, a two stage withdrawal process running three to four weeks, a $2,500 weekly cap that tightens further when you win big, and a bonus clause that keeps restrictions active permanently rather than expiring at wagering completion.

My own test ended with a lost deposit and no withdrawal attempt, so I am judging the payout side on the public record rather than personal experience. I will update this review once I have tested a cashout directly.

For now: if you play here, deposit modest amounts, claim nothing, avoid every game on the excluded list regardless of your balance, verify on day one, and expect three to four weeks for any payout. Better options exist in our US casino rankings, and if you do end up in a dispute here, our complaints guide covers the Central Dispute System route and what evidence to collect.

🎁 Bonuses & Promotions

Read this before claiming anything here. Section 6.1 of the Captain Jack terms states that when you play with a balance derived from any bonus, the original bonus restrictions continue to apply even after the wagering requirement has been completed. In plain terms: clear your 40x playthrough, then open Roulette or Live Dealer with what you believe is your own money, and the casino reserves the right to void the entire balance and close the account. This single clause explains a large share of the withdrawal complaints against this casino.

Wagering requirements: 40x for Slots, Keno, Bingo, Board Games, Plinko and Scratch Cards. 60x for Table Games and Video Poker.

Games banned with any bonus active: Baccarat, Craps, Crash games, Pai Gow Poker, Pontoon 21, Roulette, Shooting games including Fish Catch, Sic Bo, War, Tournaments, Live Dealer and all Progressive Jackpots. Playing any of these with bonus funds can void all winnings and close the account.

No deposit bonuses: maximum withdrawal is 1x the face value of the bonus with a $100 minimum. Bonuses under $100 are capped at $100 total. This is significantly tighter than the 5x multiplier most competing casinos apply.

Deposit bonuses are non-cashable. The bonus amount is stripped from your withdrawal at approval. Deposit $100, receive a $100 bonus, request $390, and you are paid $290. The terms call this coupon reversal.

Consecutive free bonuses: not permitted without a real money deposit of $30 or more between them.

Balance requirement to claim: your account balance must be $3 or less before you can redeem any promotion other than a deposit bonus, and you must have no pending withdrawals.

First time non-depositing players: winnings from a no deposit bonus are paid only in cryptocurrency, usually Litecoin, and you must first make a $10 Litecoin verification deposit before any payout is released. If you send a different cryptocurrency, the casino reserves the right to treat it as a real money deposit with no refund.

Weekly Cashback: credited Sunday afternoon EST based on the prior week's net losses. 40x wagering, 2x maximum withdrawal, minimum $100. Cashable, meaning it is not deducted from your payout.

Rewards Club: the most player friendly offer on the site. 1x wagering, no maximum withdrawal, credited within 24 hours of your first deposit of the previous day, capped at $500.

Comp Points: 100 points equals $1. Minimum redemption 1,000 points, maximum 20,000. 40x wagering and 1x maximum withdrawal. Points expire 12 months after they are earned.

Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are actively monitored and updated monthly, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page.
