🎁 Bonuses & Promotions

Two numbers govern every bonus here.

Clause 1i: all deposit bonuses and free spins carry 40x wagering. On a NZ$400 bonus that is NZ$16,000 of turnover.

Clause 1c: maximum bet during bonus play is NZ$8 / CA$8, or EUR 5. Purchasing any game feature, including a respin, adds to your bet amount. Exceed it and CookieCasino reserves the right to confiscate the winnings.

Minimum deposit for any bonus: NZ$25 / CA$25, or EUR 20 / USD 20.

Free spin packages, the best part of the offering here

First deposit: 120 free spins delivered as 30 per day across 4 days. The first 30 arrive immediately after a successful deposit, then every 24 hours provided you have wagered the deposit 1x.

Second deposit: 100 free spins delivered as 50 per day across 2 days, on the same 1x deposit wagering condition.

That is 220 spins across two deposits, the largest package of the five N1 Interactive brands we have reviewed. Bob offers 100, BetAmo 100, Spinia and Betchan less again.

Sunday Reload: 50 free spins as 25 per day across 2 days, requiring 1x deposit wagering.

Tuesday Free Spins: a single bonus on a Tuesday deposit of NZ$25 or more.

All free spin winnings carry 40x wagering, and spins must be activated in your personal area before opening the intended slot.

Caps and restrictions

  • No deposit bonuses and free spins: NZ$75 / CA$75, or EUR 50. The cap persists after wagering is complete, and a EUR 20 deposit is required before withdrawing.
  • Cashback, comp points, tournament bonuses, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus other than the welcome offer: EUR 10,000 / CA$10,000. Anything above is forfeited before withdrawal, with review taking up to 14 business days.

Game contribution: slots 100 percent. Baccarat, blackjack and hi-lo 5 percent except live dealer. Video poker 5 percent. Roulette and poker 5 percent except live dealer. Crash games 5 percent.

Real money is spent first when the bonus is linked to a deposit. Where you hold real money plus a separately activated bonus not connected to your balance, bonus money is wagered first.

Clause 8c is worth reading twice: both the bonus amount and any winnings from it are lost once the bonus expires. With 220 spins spread across six days and 40x wagering on the winnings, the timeline matters. Track when your bonus expires.

Cancelling a bonus after wagering has started deducts the bonus and everything won with it.

Free spin rule: clause 1j requires you to play through the deposit that earned your free spins at least 3 times, excluding table games.

Bonus ratio above 50 percent of deposits is treated as abuse under clause 8f.

One bonus per person, device, IP address and browser.

Ireland, Finland and Croatia are excluded from all deposit based bonuses. Sweden is excluded from every promotion, VIP reward and comp point exchange.

Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are checked daily, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page. If any of the terms above are unfamiliar, our bonus terms decoder explains what each clause means in practice.

📝 Full Review

Cookie Casino is operated by N1 Interactive Ltd, Malta company registration C 81457, registered at 206 Wisely House, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under MGA/B2C/394/2017.

That is the fifth time we have written that paragraph. Bob Casino, Betchan, Spinia and BetAmo carry identical details, down to terms document version 2.8 dated 23 January 2024. One company, one licence, five brands. Our casino groups page maps the full picture.

Our test, and a number that does not match

Author's test: Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed. No verification loop, no unexplained holds. The withdrawal took more than four days.

The money arrived, which is the thing that matters most. But four days is worth flagging against what the casino itself promises.

The payments page states: "we know how important it is for our players to receive their funds as quickly as possible, therefore we aim to process all payments within 12 hours."

The terms and conditions say something different: "your withdrawal request may take up to 5 days to process."

Our experience landed closer to the second figure than the first.

This is not a scandal, it is a mismatch between marketing and contract, and it is worth knowing which to plan around. The twelve hour promise sits on a promotional page. The five day figure sits in the document you agreed to. When those disagree, the terms are what governs.

The payments page does offer genuinely useful advice alongside the claim: upload all your documents to your profile in advance so you do not wait through verification later. That is correct and it applies at every casino.

The account closure case worth reading properly

One review on this profile does something we have not seen at any of the four sister brands, and it deserves setting out in full rather than summarising.

A Canadian player wrote in May 2026 that he turned off bonuses, deposited, and won a large amount. He states the casino then ran a deep KYC review lasting a month, requesting a new document each time he asked for an update, before closing his account.

In an update he added that he had funded the account only through his bank via Instadebit, had supplied three months of bank history, and that the casino cited "internal risks" without elaborating.

He also stated that the positive reviews on the profile are bots or paid.

The casino's reply is the most specific we have seen from any brand in this group. It stated that following a compliance and security review the account was closed under internal risk and payment security procedures, that the review "identified indicators related to payment disputes/chargeback-related risks", that the decision was not related to the size of the winnings, and that the player's deposited funds were returned to him. It also rejected the suggestion that reviews are manipulated.

Compare that with the sister brands. At BetAmo, a Canadian player reporting a closure with a cancelled withdrawal got no reply at all. At Casino Chan, a player who asked repeatedly what he had violated got nothing. Here the casino named a category of reason and confirmed the deposit refund.

We cannot establish who is right. The player says he had no reason for closure. The casino says its review found chargeback risk indicators. Neither of us can see the account.

What we can say is that this is what a substantive reply looks like, and that it is rare enough in this industry to be worth noting. It is also worth understanding what the reply actually means: chargeback risk indicators can be triggered by payment provider data unrelated to anything the player did deliberately, and the terms give the casino sole discretion over the conclusion. Clause on anti-fraud states the player "will not be notified or informed about the reasons of such actions", which is exactly what he experienced.

The claim about paid reviews we cannot verify. What we can observe is that several positive reviews name VIP managers by first name, including Dana, Kate and Alexa, posted months apart by accounts in different countries. That pattern is hard to manufacture, though it does not rule out anything either.

The other closure case

A New Zealand player wrote in July 2025 that she completed verification for bonus winnings and, being in the process of returning to her maiden name, uploaded her marriage certificate as proof at support's direction. Her account was then closed with no reason given and no discussion possible.

The casino replied that it could not find an account registered with the email she provided and suggested a mix-up. She responded that her account shows as disabled when she tries to log in to contact support.

That exchange goes nowhere and it illustrates a real procedural gap. If your account is disabled, you cannot log in. If you cannot log in, you cannot reach support through the normal channel. The casino asks you to contact support with correct details while the route to doing so is closed.

The practical answer, if this happens to you, is to email support directly from the address you registered with rather than trying the in-account channel, and to escalate to the ADR if that fails. Which brings us to the part of this review that matters most if something goes wrong.

What the MGA licence gives you

Cookie Casino is one of five casinos in our rankings licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and all five are this same company.

The MGA investigates player complaints, imposes fines and revokes licences. That is enforcement with consequences, which offshore regulators in this market largely do not provide.

The escalation path is set out in the terms with full contact details:

  • Step one: support@cookiecasino.com
  • Step two: escalation to management on request
  • Step three, after 8 weeks: free referral to the appointed ADR service CasinoReviews.com, with a submission form, a Ta'Xbiex address and complaints@casinoreviews.com
  • Alternative: direct complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority, with its form, address and phone numbers
  • For EU players: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform

The terms also state that using either route does not affect your right to bring court proceedings.

For both players described above, this is the route they had available. An account closed with winnings withheld at a Curacao or Anjouan casino usually ends there. Here an ADR provider and a regulator can compel a response, and the eight week timeline is written into the terms rather than left to the operator's discretion. Our complaints guide covers what evidence to gather first.

Withdrawal limits and payments

  • Daily: NZ$4,000 / CA$4,000, or EUR 4,000
  • Weekly: NZ$10,000, or EUR 10,000
  • Monthly, standard: NZ$40,000, or EUR 40,000
  • Monthly, ultimate: EUR 75,000
  • Minimum withdrawal: NZ$10, or EUR 10
  • Minimum deposit: EUR 20 or USD 10

Above EUR 40,000 payouts may be split into monthly instalments of EUR 20,000.

Canadian payment support is among the best in this group. Interac up to CA$6,000, Instadebit up to CA$4,000, Neosurf up to CA$10,000, plus cards and e-wallets to CA$10,000. That is a broader spread than BetAmo offers and matches Spinia.

One limitation specific to this brand. Mastercard withdrawals are supported in only twelve countries: Andorra, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, San Marino, Sweden and Switzerland. New Zealand and Canada are not on that list. The sister brands publish a longer list of 28 countries. Visa OCT payouts also exclude Australia, though Australia is restricted here anyway. If you deposit by Mastercard, plan a different route out.

Verification becomes mandatory once cumulative withdrawals reach EUR 2,000. Submit documents on the day you register rather than the day you want your money.

All deposits must be wagered 3x before withdrawal, applying whether or not you take a bonus.

Responsible gambling and dormant accounts

The MGA mandates player protection and the tooling is complete: deposit, loss, wager and session limits, cooling off and self exclusion, all set from within your account. Decreases apply immediately, increases require email confirmation and only take effect after the previous limit expires.

Hourly reality check notifications appear during play.

The terms explain honestly what a loss limit actually does, with a worked example showing it is based on your initial deposit rather than on winnings. Most casinos would prefer you found that out later.

One process quirk shared across all five brands: if you self exclude you cannot log in to request a withdrawal and must email support instead.

The dormant account clause runs in your favour. After 12 months without login a EUR 5 monthly fee begins from month 13, with monthly reminder emails. If the account stays inactive for 30 months, the balance is remitted back to the player. Only the N1 brands in our rankings do this.

If you need support independent of any casino, Gambling Helpline NZ and GamCare are free and confidential.

Restrictions

Australia is restricted. So is Ontario specifically, along with the Netherlands, UK, US, Cyprus and a long list of others. New Zealand and the rest of Canada are not.

Canadian players cannot access NYX or NextGen games.

VPN use to access from a restricted region allows account blocking and confiscation of funds. Politically Exposed Persons are not accepted.

German players face a 5.3 percent fee on every real money bet plus a EUR 1,000 monthly deposit cap. This does not affect New Zealand or Canadian players.

Verdict

Cookie Casino sits in the middle of its own group, and the position is earned rather than arbitrary.

Our deposit, play and withdrawal all completed, which puts it ahead of BetAmo where our verification failed entirely. The MGA licence brings three named escalation routes including the regulator itself. The 220 free spin package across two deposits is the largest of the five brands. Canadian payment support with Interac, Instadebit and Neosurf is strong. Dormant balances come back to you after 30 months. And in the most serious complaint on the profile, the casino gave a specific documented reason and confirmed the deposit was refunded, which none of the sister brands managed on comparable cases.

Against that: our withdrawal took over four days against a twelve hour promise on the casino's own payments page, with the terms saying five days, so three different figures exist across the operator's own material. Trustpilot sits at 2.4. Two account closure cases appear on the profile, one involving a month of escalating document requests before closure, the other a player who could not reach support because her account was disabled. And Mastercard withdrawals are unavailable to New Zealand and Canadian players, which is a restriction the sister brands do not carry.

Bob Casino remains where we would start for a player looking at this group. Cookie is a reasonable second, ahead of Spinia and well ahead of BetAmo.

If you play here: upload every document on the day you register, plan around five days rather than twelve hours, do not use Mastercard for withdrawals, skip the bonuses given 40x wagering or set your spin below NZ$8 and never adjust it, track when your bonus expires because winnings go with it, and escalate to CasinoReviews.com after eight weeks rather than continuing to email. Compare against the alternatives in our New Zealand casino rankings.
