🎁 Bonuses & Promotions

Two numbers govern every bonus here.

Clause 1i: all deposit bonuses and free spins carry 40x wagering. On a NZ$400 bonus that is NZ$16,000 of turnover.

Clause 1c: maximum bet during bonus play is NZ$8 / CA$8, or EUR 5. Purchasing any game feature, including a respin, adds to your bet amount. Exceed it and BetAmo reserves the right to confiscate the winnings.

Minimum deposit for any bonus: NZ$25 / CA$25, or EUR 20 / USD 20.

First deposit free spins: 100 spins delivered as 20 per day across 5 days. The first 20 arrive immediately after a successful deposit, then every 24 hours provided you have wagered the deposit 1x. Winnings carry 40x wagering.

Monday free spins, tiered by deposit on Gorilla Mayhem: NZ$25 to NZ$75 gives 20 spins, NZ$75 to NZ$125 gives 50 spins, above NZ$125 gives 100 spins. Winnings carry 40x.

High Roller bonus: requires a first deposit of at least NZ$1,500 / CA$1,500, or EUR 1,000. Maximum bet during wagering rises to NZ$15 / CA$15, or EUR 10.

Maximum winnings caps:

  • No deposit bonuses and free spins: NZ$75 / CA$75, or EUR 50. The cap persists after wagering is complete, and a EUR 20 deposit is required before withdrawing.
  • Cashback, comp points, tournament bonuses, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus other than the welcome offer: NZ$10,000 / CA$10,000, or EUR 10,000. Anything above is forfeited before withdrawal, with review taking up to 14 business days.

Game contribution: slots 100 percent. Baccarat, blackjack and hi-lo 5 percent except live dealer. Video poker 5 percent. Roulette and poker 5 percent except live dealer. Crash games 5 percent.

Real money is spent first when the bonus is linked to a deposit. Where you hold real money plus a separately activated bonus not connected to your balance, bonus money is wagered first.

Cancelling a bonus after wagering has started deducts the bonus and everything won with it. You may withdraw your deposit before meeting the requirement, but the bonus and its winnings are forfeited.

Free spin rule: clause 1j requires you to play through the deposit that earned your free spins at least 3 times, excluding table games, before withdrawing.

Sign up free spins require email verification and are credited within 24 hours.

Bonus ratio above 50 percent of deposits is treated as abuse under clause 8f, allowing confiscation and removal of bonus access.

One bonus per person, device, IP address and browser.

Finland, Ireland and Croatia are excluded from all deposit based bonuses. Sweden is excluded from every promotion, VIP reward and comp point exchange.

Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are checked daily, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page. If any of the terms above are unfamiliar, our bonus terms decoder explains what each clause means in practice.

📝 Full Review

BetAmo is operated by N1 Interactive Ltd, Malta company registration C 81457, registered at 206 Wisely House, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under MGA/B2C/394/2017.

This is the fourth time we have written that paragraph. Bob Casino, Betchan and Spinia carry identical details, down to terms document version 2.8 dated 23 January 2024. One company, one licence, four brands.

It is also the only one of the four where our own test failed, and that changes what this review has to say.

Our test: stuck in the KYC loop

Author's test: We deposited and played without issue. When we requested a withdrawal, verification began and did not conclude. Documents submitted, documents resubmitted, and the payout never processed.

We have tested three other casinos run by this same company under this same licence. At Bob Casino, Betchan and Spinia, our deposits, verification and withdrawals all completed. Spinia's KYC took five days, which we flagged as slow. Here it did not complete at all.

That comparison is the most useful thing in this review. Same operator, same licence, same terms document, same verification requirements on paper. Four accounts, three cleared, one did not.

What the reviews say, and why they matter more here

At the three sister brands we made the same argument each time: most negative reviews came from restricted countries, so for a New Zealand or Canadian player the record did not describe your situation.

We cannot lean on that here, because the complaints match what happened to us.

The verification pattern

A Dutch player in August 2025 wrote that the KYC process was a nightmare, having sent ID, bank statement and selfie without being verified. The casino replied apologising and asking them to contact support.

A Canadian player in December 2022 reported winning and being unable to withdraw because all documents were refused.

A Danish player in March 2024 rated the casino four stars, praising support as fast and attentive while stating the validation system could not process pictures that other sites accepted without problem.

That last review is the most credible of the three because it is not hostile. A player who compliments support in the same breath as criticising validation is describing something specific rather than venting.

The delay tactic allegation

An Irish player in May 2026 wrote something we have not seen elsewhere in this operator group:

"They attempted to delay my withdrawal until I threatened them with legal action. Then amazingly the problems all went away and I was approved in 2 minutes. It was just the standard ploy to trick problem gamblers into not withdrawing."

The casino replied stating that verification and payment reviews are standard procedures, that processing times vary, and that "withdrawals are never intentionally delayed to discourage players from cashing out."

The player then edited his review to say the reply should be ignored and that the delay was not close to standard.

We cannot establish who is right. What we can say is that the underlying concern is real and recognised: a pending withdrawal that sits long enough often gets cancelled by the player and gambled away. That is why the sister brands offer a cooling off period specifically to lock the account while a payout is processing, and it is worth using anywhere.

The account closure case

A Canadian player in July 2026 reported her account closed without any request from her, being told the closure was at her request, and her pending withdrawal cancelled.

The casino did not reply to this review.

Clause 7.8 of the terms is relevant: the casino retains sole and final authority over whether you have violated any rule, and may act "without prior notice or explanation". Whatever happened here, the terms permit the outcome she describes.

The joint account case

A New Zealand player in December 2022 reported NZ$10,000 confiscated after depositing from a joint account. She states she provided documentation showing her name was on that account and the card transaction was hers, and that support responded only that it was not her account. She notes smaller withdrawals had been paid previously and this was her first large win.

The rule is real and it is standard. The terms require deposits from an account registered in your own name, with winnings confiscated and the deposit returned to the payment account owner if breached. That rule exists at every regulated casino for anti money laundering reasons.

Whether a joint account bearing the player's name qualifies is exactly the kind of dispute an ADR exists to resolve. This player had one available and, from her account, did not use it.

The geographic ban

A player from Greenland in January 2024 reported depositing and losing EUR 2,200 without issue, then being banned and having the account deleted when he tried to withdraw EUR 800, with the casino stating his country was illegal for play.

Greenland is not on the restricted list, though Denmark is not either while Faroe Islands appears at some sister brands. Whatever the classification, the sequence is the problem: deposits accepted for the full period, the restriction invoked only at withdrawal.

The positive reviews

They exist and several are specific. A Dutch player in March 2025 praised quick withdrawals and slot selection. Another Dutch player named VIP manager Tammy and mentioned bonus buys being available. A third named Yasmin and said withdrawals were always on time. A fourth praised VIP managers and tournaments.

Notably, all four are from the Netherlands, which is on the restricted countries list. Make of that what you will.

What the MGA licence still gives you

Everything above needs setting against something almost no casino in this market offers.

BetAmo is one of four casinos in our rankings licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and all four are the same company. The MGA investigates complaints, imposes fines and revokes licences.

The escalation path is in the terms with full contact details:

  • Step one: support@betamo.com
  • Step two: escalation to management on request
  • Step three, after 8 weeks: free referral to the appointed ADR service CasinoReviews.com, with a submission form, a Ta'Xbiex address and complaints@casinoreviews.com
  • Alternative: direct complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority, with its form, address and phone numbers
  • For EU players: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform

If you are reading this because you are stuck at BetAmo, this is the section that matters. A verification loop at a Curacao or Anjouan casino usually has no resolution route at all. Here there is a named ADR provider and a regulator with enforcement powers, and the eight week timeline is written into the terms rather than left to the operator. Stop emailing support after eight weeks and file with CasinoReviews.com instead. Our complaints guide covers what evidence to gather first.

Withdrawal limits, where BetAmo is actually ahead

One thing here is better than at any sister brand:

  • Daily: NZ$4,000 / CA$4,000, or EUR 4,000
  • Weekly: NZ$10,000, or EUR 10,000
  • Monthly, standard limit: NZ$40,000, or EUR 40,000
  • Monthly, ultimate limit: NZ$75,000, or EUR 75,000
  • Minimum withdrawal: NZ$10, or EUR 10

Bob, Betchan and Spinia all cap at EUR 40,000 monthly. BetAmo publishes a second tier at EUR 75,000, which is the highest figure across these brands.

The terms do not explain how the ultimate limit is reached, so ask support if it matters to you.

Above EUR 40,000 payouts may be split into monthly instalments of EUR 20,000.

Verification becomes mandatory once cumulative withdrawals reach EUR 2,000. Given our own experience, start it the day you register.

All deposits must be wagered 3x before withdrawal, applying whether or not you take a bonus.

Payments, where BetAmo is behind

The terms name Visa, Mastercard credit and debit cards, and web wallets including Skrill and Neteller.

What is absent compared with the sister brands is notable. Bob offers Interac, Trustly, Neosurf and Paysafecard. Spinia adds Instadebit. BetAmo's published method list is the narrowest of the four.

For Canadian players this matters directly: no Interac means you lose the payment rail most Canadians actually use. Check the cashier for current options before depositing, because the terms may not reflect what is live.

Card payouts run through Visa OCT and Mastercard Payment Transfer, with the card required to be personal rather than corporate and issued in a supported country. Australia is on the unsupported list for Visa payouts, though Australia is restricted anyway.

Responsible gambling and dormant accounts

The MGA mandates player protection and the tooling is complete: deposit, loss, wager and session limits, cooling off and self exclusion, all set from within your account. Decreases apply immediately, increases require email confirmation and only take effect after the previous limit expires.

Hourly reality check notifications appear during play.

The terms explain honestly what a loss limit actually does, with a worked example showing it is based on your initial deposit rather than winnings.

The cooling off period is worth highlighting given the delay allegations above. It locks your account against deposits while allowing you to withdraw remaining funds. If you have a payout pending and are worried about cancelling it out of frustration, that feature exists precisely for this.

One process quirk shared across all four brands: if you self exclude you cannot log in to request a withdrawal and must email support instead.

The dormant account clause runs in your favour. After 12 months without login a EUR 5 monthly fee begins from month 13. If the account stays inactive for 30 months, the balance is remitted back to the player. Only the N1 brands in our rankings do this.

If you need support independent of any casino, Gambling Helpline NZ and GamCare are free and confidential.

Restrictions

Australia is restricted. So is Ontario specifically, along with the Netherlands, UK, US, Cyprus and a long list of others. New Zealand and the rest of Canada are not.

Canadian players cannot access NYX or NextGen games.

VPN use to access from a restricted region allows account blocking and confiscation. Politically Exposed Persons are not accepted.

German players face a 5.3 percent fee on every real money bet plus a EUR 1,000 monthly deposit cap. This does not affect New Zealand or Canadian players.

Verdict

BetAmo has the same regulatory foundation as three casinos we rate considerably higher. An MGA licence with real enforcement, a named operator, three escalation routes including the regulator itself, a complete responsible gambling suite, dormant balances returned rather than consumed, and the highest monthly withdrawal ceiling of the four brands at NZ$75,000.

None of that helped us get verified.

Our documents went in, went in again, and the withdrawal never processed. At Bob, Betchan and Spinia, running on the identical licence with identical published requirements, the same process completed. That is one failure out of four accounts at one company, and it is the clearest thing we can tell you.

The review record matches. Trustpilot sits at 1.7, the lowest of the four. The complaints cluster around verification rejections, an account closed without request with a withdrawal cancelled, a NZ$10,000 confiscation over a joint account, and an Irish player who says delays evaporated the moment he mentioned legal action. Several drew no reply at all.

The payment method list is also the narrowest here, with no Interac for Canadian players.

We would not start here. Bob Casino runs on the same licence, the same terms and the same operator with a materially better record, and it is where we would send a New Zealand or Canadian player looking at this group.

If you already have money stuck at BetAmo: keep every document submission with dates and every support transcript, set a cooling off period so a pending withdrawal cannot be cancelled in frustration, and file with CasinoReviews.com once eight weeks have passed rather than emailing support again. Unlike almost every other casino serving this market, you have somewhere real to take it. The alternatives are in our New Zealand casino rankings.
