Cons
🎁 Bonuses & Promotions
Two rules here are harsher than anything else in our rankings.
Clause 2a: table games and live dealer games contribute 0 percent toward bonus wagering. Not 5 percent, not 10. Nothing at all. At most casinos those categories at least count partially.
The excluded games list runs to hundreds of titles across roughly 30 providers including NetEnt, Play'n GO, Pragmatic, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Push Gaming, Red Tiger, Habanero, Betsoft, Wazdan and Relax. Every jackpot game is excluded too. This is by far the longest such list we have documented.
Wagering: 40x on all deposit bonuses. No deposit and free spin bonuses also 40x unless stated otherwise.
Minimum deposit for a bonus: CA$25 / NZ$25 / AU$25, or EUR 20.
Maximum bet during bonus play: CA$8 / NZ$8 / AU$8, or EUR 5. Purchasing any game feature, including respins, adds to your bet amount. Exceed it and National Casino reserves the right to confiscate the winnings.
Titles you will find excluded include Dead or Alive and Dead or Alive 2, Reel Steal, The Wish Master, Book of Shadows, Jammin' Jars 2, Wild Swarm, Hellcatraz, Vikings Go Berzerk, Tomb Raider, Medusa, Stardust, Scrooge and Mahjong 88. Check the full list before claiming, because if the game you came for is on it the bonus is worth nothing to you.
Maximum winnings caps:
- No deposit bonuses: CA$75 / NZ$75 / AU$75, or EUR 50. The account must be fully verified and a deposit made before you can withdraw.
- Cashback, comp points, tournaments, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus except the welcome offer: CA$15,000 / NZ$17,000 / AU$15,000, or EUR 10,000. Anything above is forfeited before withdrawal, with review taking 14 working days.
No deposit bonuses must be activated within 3 days and wagered within 7.
Real money is wagered first when a bonus is active, then bonus money.
Clause 2f: you may withdraw your deposit before meeting the wagering requirement, but the bonus and any winnings from it are forfeited.
Bonus abuse is defined unusually here as a bonus to wager ratio above 40 percent. Most casinos use a deposits to bonuses ratio above 50 percent. The phrasing is different enough that it is worth asking support what it means in practice if you plan to take bonuses regularly.
Free spin rule: clause 1l requires you to play through the deposit that earned your free spins at least 3 times, excluding table games.
One bonus per person, email, browser, device and IP address.
Finland, Japan and Georgia are excluded from all deposit based bonuses.
Sportsbook, where the terms are better
Sports bets require only 1x deposit turnover before withdrawal against 3x for casino play, which is a real advantage if you bet as well as play.
Maximum winnings are capped at EUR 100,000 per bet, EUR 250,000 per day and EUR 500,000 per week. Minimum stake is EUR 0.10.
Sports disputes must be lodged within 7 days of the bet being determined. Result complaints have 10 calendar days.
Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are checked daily, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page. If any of the terms above are unfamiliar, our bonus terms decoder explains what each clause means in practice.

📝 Full Review
National Casino is operated by Starsten Ltd., registered in the British Virgin Islands under company number 2174149, at Quijano Chambers, Road Town, Tortola. It holds Kahnawake licence number 01056, issued 13 May 2026.
That licence is the reason this review exists in its current form, so it is where we start.
The Kahnawake licence, and why it matters for Canadian players
The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is based in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke, in Quebec. It is the only regulator behind any casino in our rankings that is physically located in Canada.
Every other offshore operator we cover answers to Curacao, Anjouan, Tobique or Malta. For a Canadian player, having the licensing authority in the same country is a materially different position, and the complaints section names the Commission directly as your escalation route.
Two things to keep in proportion. Kahnawake is not a consumer protection regulator in the sense the Malta Gaming Authority is, and it does not have the enforcement reach of a provincial body like the AGCO. It has operated since 1999 and does handle player complaints, but it is a smaller operation with a lighter touch.
And the licence is recent. Issued 13 May 2026, it was roughly four months old when we wrote this. A new licence is not a red flag on its own, but it means there is not yet a long record of how this operator behaves under this particular regulator.
The jurisdiction problem
Here is where it gets muddled. Three different jurisdictions appear in one terms document:
- Company: Starsten Ltd., British Virgin Islands
- Licence: Kahnawake Gaming Commission, Quebec, Canada
- Governing law, section 19: "These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Curacao. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Curacao."
Curacao appears nowhere else in the document. No Curacao licence is claimed. It looks like a leftover from a previous version, which fits a licence issued only months ago.
Why it matters practically: if you escalate to Kahnawake, that works, because the complaints section directs you there. But if a dispute ever moved beyond a regulator, section 19 sends you to Curacao courts under Curacao law, not to Canada. Those are different outcomes, and the document does not reconcile them.
Our test
Author's test: Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed. We played without claiming a bonus. The withdrawal took two and a half days against a published target of up to three days.
That alignment is worth noting because it is rare. At another casino we reviewed recently, the payments page promised 12 hours, the terms said 5 days, and our withdrawal took over 4. Here the published figure and the actual result matched.
The most serious problem: no responsible gambling tools
This section carries the most weight in our scoring, because the terms and the player complaints point at the same thing.
The responsible gaming section of the terms describes no self-service tools whatsoever. No deposit limits. No loss limits. No wager limits. No session limits. No cooling off period. No reality check.
What it says is: "You can activate this preventive measure by contacting our friendly Support Service by Live Chat."
Compare that with the MGA licensed casinos in our rankings, where every one of those tools is set from inside your account, decreases apply immediately, and increases require email confirmation plus a waiting period specifically to prevent rash decisions.
The design matters because of where it routes you. If the only way to self-exclude is to ask a live chat agent, then the moment you try to stop gambling, you are speaking to someone whose job includes retention.
Two players describe exactly that
A Portuguese player wrote: "if you want to self-exclude or pause, they wont do it and offer you more gambling bonus to keep you hooked. Thats wrong, in so many levels." He later updated his review to say he has conversations with casino representatives offering promotions, bonuses and free credits after he requested account closure.
The casino replied: "We take Responsible Gambling seriously, and we handle self-exclusion requests separately from promotional offers."
A Canadian player independently described wanting to delete her account after a crash game took her bonus wagering money across four consecutive crashes. She states she was offered a bonus to stay, agreed to take it, and had her account deleted instead of receiving it.
We cannot verify either account. What we can say is that both describe the same sequence, they come from different countries months apart, and the structure described in the terms is exactly the structure that would produce it.
If you need to stop gambling, use a tool independent of any casino. ConnexOntario and Gambling Help Online Canada are free, confidential and have no interest in your continuing to play. Blocking software and bank level gambling blocks also work regardless of what any operator does.
What "Verified" means on Trustpilot, and why it matters here
National Casino sits at 3.7, the highest recent score among casinos we have reviewed for these markets. The profile deserves a closer look than the number alone.
A "Verified" badge on Trustpilot does not mean a review is more trustworthy. It means the company invited it.
Verified reviews come from an invitation the business sent, usually automatically after a transaction. That is legitimate and extremely common. But it means the business chooses when invitations go out, and inviting players right after a successful withdrawal produces a different profile than inviting them at random.
Look at the pattern on this profile. A large share of the five star reviews are Verified, from single review accounts, and remarkably short. Among them:
- "Me win big time" — five stars
- "Just easy to easy" — five stars
- "Good fast payout" — five stars
- "Easy to access" — five stars
- "Sometimes win, sometimes lose." — five stars
That last one is the tell. It is a neutral statement of how gambling works, attached to the maximum rating. Which is what happens when an invitation arrives at a good moment and a player clicks five stars without thinking about it much.
None of this is fraud and we are not alleging any. It is a legitimate feature being used the way it is designed to be used. But it means the 3.7 reflects a curated sample rather than a random one, and the detailed one star reviews deserve proportionally more of your attention than their number suggests.
Our casino groups page covers how to read a review profile properly.
The EUR 2,000 dispute
The most substantial complaint on the profile comes from an Irish player in July 2026, and it is detailed enough to set out.
He states that EUR 2,000 in winnings disappeared during play. The casino replied publicly that his gameplay had been reviewed, all balance changes were calculated correctly, the funds were used during gameplay, and "We do not see any technical error from our side."
He then updated his review with a specific rebuttal. He states the casino's own support sent him an email admitting in writing that his sessions at 21:33 suffered a system failure and "were rolled back because the system did not fully process them." He argues that a manual rollback means the database for the following period is unreliable, and cites his bet size appearing as EUR 3.60 when logs resumed versus EUR 3.00 before, as evidence his session was continuous through the gap. He states he has initiated chargeback proceedings through Revolut and AIB.
We cannot resolve this and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We have not seen the email he describes and neither claim can be checked from outside. What we can observe is that the casino's public position, that it sees no technical error, and the player's account of a written admission of a rollback, cannot both be complete descriptions of the same events.
This is what the Kahnawake Gaming Commission exists for. A documented technical dispute with an email trail is exactly the kind of case a regulator can adjudicate and a review page cannot. Our complaints guide covers how to prepare a submission.
Cancelled withdrawals return to your balance
A Canadian player wrote that a withdrawal was cancelled and the funds returned to her app without her knowledge, after which they were spent.
The casino's reply confirms the mechanism plainly: "If a withdrawal is cancelled, the funds are automatically returned to the gaming balance."
That is how nearly every casino works and it is not deceptive. But the consequence is real: money you believed was on its way out silently becomes money you can play, and if you do not check, you gamble it without ever deciding to.
If you request a withdrawal, check your balance daily until it arrives. At casinos that offer a cooling off period, using it locks the account while a payout processes, which removes the risk entirely. National Casino does not describe one.
Withdrawal limits and payments
- Daily: CA$4,000, or EUR 4,000
- Weekly: CA$16,000, or EUR 16,000
- Monthly: CA$50,000, or EUR 50,000
- Minimum withdrawal: EUR 10
- Minimum deposit: EUR 10
- Processing: up to 3 days
All progressive jackpot winnings are paid out in full outside these limits.
Bank transfers require a minimum of EUR 500 and may attract intermediary bank fees up to EUR 16.
A fee to close your account. Section 14 states that if you close your account with funds still in it, a transaction fee of EUR 12.50 is added for a manual bank transfer by the casino's team.
Withdraw your balance first and wait for it to arrive, then close the account. Doing both at once costs you EUR 12.50.
Deposit turnover: 3x for casino and live casino play, 1x for sports bets, before withdrawal. That sports figure is genuinely better than the flat 3x almost everywhere else.
One caveat worth reading: section 14 allows the security service to refuse a withdrawal where deposit or withdrawal amounts are inconsistent with the bets placed, with a minimum odds requirement of 1.1 on sports. In practice this means depositing and immediately withdrawing without meaningful play can be blocked.
A currency gap to check
Section 3 lists the accepted currencies and includes EUR, USD, CAD and a long list of others. NZD and AUD are not on it.
Yet the bonus terms quote NZ$ and AU$ figures throughout, for the maximum bet, the minimum deposit, the no deposit cap and the winnings cap. And the review profile includes New Zealand and Australian players describing normal play.
The currency list appears out of date rather than authoritative, but if you are in New Zealand or Australia, confirm your account currency at registration rather than assuming.
The VPN clause, which is unique
Every other casino we have reviewed prohibits VPN use with confiscation of winnings as the stated penalty. National Casino does not:
"Using VPN is not restricted, however, it may lead to malfunction of games or connections issues."
That is a genuinely unusual position and it favours players who use a VPN for ordinary privacy reasons rather than to mask location.
It does not override the restricted countries policy. Section 2 still states that selecting a different country to bypass a registration restriction can lead to confiscated winnings and permanent closure. The VPN clause removes the tool as a violation in itself; it does not make a restricted country acceptable.
The complaints process, and two clauses inside it
Complaints go to support@nationalcasino.com with your username, name and a detailed explanation. Formal complaints must be raised within 6 months of the issue. If unsatisfied, section 18 directs you to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
Two clauses inside that process are worth knowing:
"You have 4 weeks in which to reply to a complaint, failure to do so will automatically resolve your query." If the casino responds and you do not reply within four weeks, the complaint closes itself and you must start over.
"No complaint may be logged within 1 week of performing a withdrawal." Stated as allowing normal processing to continue, it means a withdrawal problem cannot be formally complained about for the first seven days.
Claims are reviewed within 30 days, with the outcome sent by email.
Games
A large multi provider library spanning NetEnt, Play'n GO, Pragmatic Play, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Push Gaming, Red Tiger, Habanero, Betsoft, Wazdan, Relax, Nolimit City, BGaming, Evoplay, Spinomenal, Amatic, Booming and others, plus a full sportsbook.
The sportsbook is properly documented, with published rules for match markets, correct score, totals, handicaps, Asian handicaps and totals, double chance, dead heat settlement, bookings, corners and time frame betting.
Canadian restrictions: NYX and NextGen games are unavailable. The NetEnt branded titles Vikings and Street Fighter are also restricted in Canada.
Australian players cannot win NetEnt jackpots, and the terms state any such win would be annulled.
Dormant accounts
After 12 consecutive months without login, a EUR 10 monthly administrative fee applies while the balance stays positive, stopping when it reaches zero or you reactivate.
A newer clause adds that a reactivated dormant account is subject to an Account Closure and Processing procedure before any withdrawal, requiring full identity verification and reactivation under KYC and AML rules first. If you leave a balance here and come back to it later, expect that step.
Verdict
National Casino brings something no other operator in our rankings does: a Kahnawake licence, with the regulator sitting in Quebec and named directly in the complaints process. For a Canadian player that is the closest thing to a domestic authority available among offshore casinos, and it is a real advantage.
Our test supports that. Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed, and the 2.5 day payout matched the published 3 day target, which is rarer than it should be. The withdrawal limits at CA$4,000 daily and CA$50,000 monthly are strong, progressive jackpots are paid in full, sports bets need only 1x deposit turnover, and the VPN clause is the most player friendly we have found anywhere.
What holds it at 6.8 is a gap that the terms and the complaints describe together.
There are no self-service responsible gambling tools. No deposit limits, no loss limits, no cooling off, no reality check, nothing you can set yourself. The only route is a live chat conversation, and two players independently describe that conversation ending in a bonus offer rather than an exclusion. When a document and a complaint describe the same structure, we weight that heavily.
Around it: bonus terms that exclude table games and live dealer entirely and blacklist hundreds of slots, three jurisdictions in one document, a EUR 12.50 fee to close an account with funds in it, complaints that auto-resolve after four weeks of your silence, a review profile built substantially on company-invited five star ratings, and an unresolved EUR 2,000 technical dispute where the casino's public position and the player's account of its own email cannot both be complete.
If you play here: use the sportsbook if you bet, because 1x deposit turnover beats 3x everywhere else. Skip the casino bonuses given the 40x and the exclusion list. Check your balance daily after requesting a withdrawal. Withdraw fully before closing your account. Confirm your currency at registration if you are in New Zealand or Australia. And if you need to stop gambling, use a blocking tool independent of the casino rather than asking live chat. Alternatives are in our Canadian casino rankings, and if you are in Ontario, an AGCO licensed operator gives you a provincial regulator and mandated player protection tooling.
