🎁 Bonuses & Promotions
Two numbers govern every bonus here.
Clause 1i: all deposit bonuses and free spins carry 40x wagering. On a NZ$400 bonus that is NZ$16,000 of turnover.
Clause 1c: maximum bet during bonus play is NZ$8 / CA$8, or EUR 5. Purchasing any game feature, including a respin, adds to your bet amount. Exceed it and Spinia reserves the right to confiscate the winnings. Set your spin value below NZ$8 before your first spin and do not adjust it.
Minimum deposit for any bonus: NZ$25 / CA$25, or EUR 20 / USD 20.
Bonus codes must be entered when making the deposit. Free spins require activation in your personal area before opening the intended slot.
Sign up free spins require email verification after registration and are credited within 24 hours.
Maximum winnings caps:
- No deposit bonuses and free spins: NZ$75 / CA$75, or EUR 50. The cap persists after wagering is complete, and a EUR 20 deposit is required before withdrawing.
- Cashback, comp points, tournament bonuses, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus other than the welcome offer: NZ$10,000 / CA$10,000, or EUR 10,000. Anything above is forfeited before withdrawal, with review taking up to 14 business days.
Game contribution: slots 100 percent. Baccarat, blackjack and hi-lo 5 percent except live dealer. Video poker 5 percent. Roulette and poker 5 percent except live dealer. Crash games 5 percent.
Real money is spent first when the bonus is linked to a deposit. Where you hold real money plus a separately activated bonus not connected to your balance, bonus money is wagered first.
Cancelling a bonus before wagering is complete forfeits the bonus and everything won with it. You may withdraw your deposit before meeting the requirement, but the bonus and its winnings are lost.
Free spin rule worth knowing: clause 1j requires you to play through the deposit that earned your free spins at least 3 times, excluding table games, before withdrawing. Fail that and the casino may cancel the spins and any winnings from them.
Bonus ratio above 50 percent of deposits is treated as abuse, allowing confiscation and removal of bonus access.
Minimal risk betting such as covering red and black in roulette, or player and banker in baccarat, does not count toward wagering and risks confiscation.
One bonus per person, device, IP address and browser.
Ireland, Finland and Croatia are excluded from all deposit based bonuses. Sweden is excluded from every promotion, VIP reward and comp point exchange.
Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are checked daily, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page. If any of the terms above are unfamiliar, our bonus terms decoder explains what each clause means in practice.

📝 Full Review
Spinia is operated by N1 Interactive Ltd, Malta company registration C 81457, registered at 206 Wisely House, Old Bakery Street, Valletta, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under MGA/B2C/394/2017.
That is the third time we have written that paragraph. Bob Casino and Betchan carry identical details, down to the terms document version 2.8 dated 23 January 2024. One company, one licence, three brands.
What differs is the review record, and at Spinia it differs in a way that matters specifically to New Zealand players.
Why the New Zealand reviews change things
When we reviewed Bob Casino and Betchan, we made the same observation about both: most of the negative reviews came from the Netherlands, which appears on the restricted countries list. That let us say honestly that for a New Zealand player, a large part of the complaint record described a situation you would not be in.
That argument does not work here. Of the reviews posted to Spinia's profile in 2025, five are from New Zealand accounts. New Zealand is not on the restricted list. These players were entitled to be there.
Three of them describe unpaid withdrawals with specific dates and amounts.
The NZ$1,450 case
A New Zealand player wrote in July 2025 about a payment of NZD 1,450 dated 17 June. They stated they had provided everything requested and that responses remained vague. They quoted the casino's message back:
"We kindly ask that you provide us with the official letter from your bank indicating that the funds could not be located. This will enable us to proceed with the investigation and offer you an accurate response."
Their response was: "That is your solution! So nothing."
The casino replied acknowledging that asking for a bank letter had not resolved anything, apologising that communication had fallen short, and stating the case was being escalated internally.
The request itself is not unreasonable in isolation. Where a bank shows no incoming transfer, a written confirmation from that bank is genuinely useful for tracing it. But asking a player to obtain formal documentation from their own bank, weeks after a payment was supposedly sent, puts the investigative burden on the wrong party.
The Kiwibank case
Another New Zealand player wrote in July 2025 that Spinia sent a transaction confirmation but their Kiwibank account showed no deposit after 19 days. They asked for the SWIFT tracking number and said they received no response. They stated their bank confirmed no transaction had been attempted.
The casino replied that it was investigating the transaction and the communication issues, and asked the player to reply to a direct message.
The SWIFT reference is the crux. Any completed international bank transfer generates a traceable reference. Providing it costs the casino nothing and resolves the question immediately. Not providing it, while the receiving bank says nothing arrived, leaves the player with no way to verify anything.
The Wheel Drop case
A New Zealand player wrote in August 2025 about winnings from a Wheel Drop promotion. Support told her to be patient and that it would be paid when Pragmatic pays. She checked the terms and believed she had complied with everything.
Her argument is worth quoting because it is the sharpest point any reviewer makes across the three N1 brands: "Yous are advertising the wheel drop, so it should be yous who push for the payment to be made. Not make people wait. Yous don't wait when we deposit the funds, so why should we have too."
The casino's reply, unusually, agreed with her. It stated: "We understand that since we advertise the Wheel Drop, it is our responsibility to ensure the payment is processed. We are actively working with the provider, Pragmatic Play, to investigate the delay."
That is a better response than most casinos manage. It is also an admission that the player was left waiting on a provider dispute she had no part in and no visibility of.
The rejected win
A fourth New Zealand player, who describes himself as a 14 year VIP at another casino, reported completing all required documents and then having his win rejected, with emails that gave no clear reason.
The casino asked for his player ID to review the case.
Our test
Author's test: Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed without problems. Verification took around five days, which is slower than the same day turnaround at the best operators but is not a rejection loop.
Our result and the New Zealand complaints above both exist. One clean cycle does not disprove three documented cases, and three documented cases do not mean the casino never pays. Both are in this review and you should weigh them together rather than picking one.
What the MGA licence still gives you
Everything above needs balancing against something the vast majority of casinos in this market cannot offer.
Spinia is one of only three casinos in our rankings licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and all three are the same company. The MGA investigates complaints, imposes fines and revokes licences. That is enforcement with consequences.
The escalation path is set out in the terms with full contact details:
- Step one: support@spinia.com
- Step two: escalation to management on request
- Step three, after 8 weeks: free referral to the appointed ADR service CasinoReviews.com, with a submission form, a Ta'Xbiex address and complaints@casinoreviews.com
- Alternative: direct complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority, with its form, address and phone numbers
- For EU players: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform
For the players described above, this matters more than anything else in this review. An unpaid NZ$1,450 at a Curacao or Anjouan casino is usually the end of the story. Here there is an ADR provider and a regulator that can compel a response, and the eight week timeline is written into the terms rather than left to the operator.
Our complaints guide covers how to prepare an ADR submission and what evidence to gather first.
A note on the positive reviews
Something about the February 2025 reviews is worth pointing out so you can weigh it yourself.
Three five star reviews appeared within four days of each other, from single review accounts in Finland and New Zealand. All three are unusually long, all three praise slots, live casino, fast withdrawals and site navigation in the same order, and all three use similar constructions: "What truly sets Spinia apart", "The fact that everything is so practical is what most impressed me", "Gamers of all skill levels can enjoy".
We are not asserting these are inauthentic and we have no way to establish it. We are pointing at a pattern and letting you look at it. There are also genuinely credible positive reviews on this profile, including long term Dutch players naming their VIP managers and one player who publicly retracted a complaint after being paid.
Withdrawal limits and payments
- Daily: NZ$4,000 / CA$4,000, or EUR 4,000
- Weekly: NZ$10,000, or EUR 10,000
- Monthly: NZ$40,000, or EUR 40,000
- Minimum withdrawal: NZ$10, or EUR 10
- Minimum deposit: EUR 20 or USD 10
Above EUR 40,000 payouts may be split into monthly instalments of EUR 20,000.
No fees on any method. E-wallets, Instadebit and Neosurf process instantly on withdrawal. Cards and Interac take 1 to 3 banking days, bank transfer 1 to 5.
Spinia has the best Canadian payment support of the three N1 brands. Interac deposits up to CA$6,000 and e-Transfer withdrawals from CA$10 to CA$6,000. Instadebit both ways, with instant withdrawals. Neosurf accepts up to CA$12,000 per deposit, which is the highest figure across these brands.
Bank transfer withdrawals require a EUR 500 minimum. Paysafecard is deposit only, so if you fund with it plan another route out.
Verification becomes mandatory once cumulative withdrawals reach EUR 2,000. Given that our own KYC took five days, start it well before you need it rather than at the moment you want your money.
All deposits must be wagered 3x before withdrawal, applying whether or not you take a bonus.
Responsible gambling and dormant accounts
The MGA mandates player protection and the tooling reflects it: deposit, loss, wager and session limits, cooling off and self exclusion, all set from within your account. Decreases apply immediately, increases require email confirmation and only take effect after the previous limit expires.
Hourly reality check notifications appear during play.
The terms explain honestly what a loss limit actually does, with a worked example showing that it is based on your initial deposit rather than on winnings. Most casinos would prefer you discovered that later.
One process quirk shared with the sister brands: if you self exclude you cannot log in to request a withdrawal, and must email support instead.
The dormant account clause runs in your favour. After 12 months without login a EUR 5 monthly fee begins from month 13, with monthly reminder emails. If the account stays inactive for 30 months, the balance is remitted back to the player. Only the N1 brands in our rankings do this.
If you need support independent of any casino, Gambling Helpline NZ and GamCare are free and confidential.
Restrictions
Australia is restricted. So is Ontario specifically, along with the Netherlands, UK, US, Cyprus and a long list of others. New Zealand and the rest of Canada are not.
Canadian players cannot access NYX or NextGen games.
VPN use to access from a restricted region allows account blocking and confiscation of funds. Politically Exposed Persons are not accepted.
German players face a 5.3 percent fee on every real money bet plus a EUR 1,000 monthly deposit cap. This does not affect New Zealand or Canadian players.
Verdict
Spinia sits on the same regulatory foundation as Bob Casino and Betchan, and that foundation is the strongest in our rankings. An MGA licence with genuine enforcement, an operator named down to its Maltese registration number, three separate escalation routes including the regulator itself, a complete responsible gambling suite, dormant balances returned rather than consumed, no fees on any payment method, and the best Canadian payment support of the three brands.
Our own test completed, though verification took five days.
What holds it at 6.9, below both sister brands, is who is complaining. At Bob and Betchan the negative record came largely from restricted countries, which let us tell New Zealand readers honestly that it did not describe their position. Here, five of the 2025 reviews are from New Zealand accounts, and three describe unpaid withdrawals with dates and amounts: NZ$1,450 outstanding from 17 June, a Wheel Drop win the casino admitted it should have chased harder, and a transaction confirmation with no matching deposit at Kiwibank after 19 days.
The casino replied to all three, and the Wheel Drop reply in particular accepted responsibility rather than deflecting. That counts for something. But three specific unresolved cases from your own market is a different signal from a wall of complaints from countries the casino never served.
If you play here: start verification immediately after registering rather than when you want to withdraw, because five days is a long wait with money sitting there. Keep records of every transaction confirmation, including any reference number the casino provides. Skip the bonuses given 40x wagering, or set your spin below NZ$8 and never adjust it. And if a payment does not arrive, escalate to the ADR after eight weeks rather than continuing to email, because unlike almost every other casino serving this market you actually have somewhere to go.
Both sister brands sit higher in our New Zealand casino rankings on the same licence, and Bob Casino is the one we would start with.
