Cons
🎁 Bonuses & Promotions
Two numbers govern every bonus here.
Clause 1i: all deposit bonuses and free spins carry 40x wagering. On a NZ$400 bonus that is NZ$16,000 of turnover.
Clause 1c: maximum bet during bonus play is NZ$8 / CA$8, or EUR 5. Purchasing any game feature, including a respin, adds to your bet amount. Exceed the limit and the terms state Bob Casino reserves the right to confiscate the winnings. Set your spin value below NZ$8 before your first spin and do not touch it.
Minimum deposit for any bonus: NZ$25 / CA$25, or EUR 20.
First deposit free spins: 100 spins delivered as 25 per day across 4 days. The first set arrives 23 hours after your deposit provided you have met a 1x deposit wagering requirement, then every 24 hours after that. Spins must be activated in your account before launching the slot.
Deposit bonuses must be claimed with the bonus code from the offer description, and each stage is tied to a specific deposit: the first deposit bonus works only on your first ever deposit, the second only on your second, and so on.
Maximum winnings caps:
- No deposit bonuses and free spins: NZ$75 / CA$75, or EUR 50. The cap persists after wagering is complete, and a EUR 20 deposit is required before withdrawing.
- Cashback, comp points, tournament winnings, VIP bonuses, weekly bonuses and any deposit bonus other than the welcome offer: EUR 10,000 / NZ$10,000 / CA$10,000. Anything above is forfeited before withdrawal, and the terms note review may take up to 14 business days.
Game contribution: slots 100 percent. Baccarat, blackjack and hi-lo 5 percent except live dealer. Video poker 5 percent. Roulette and poker 5 percent except live dealer. Crash games 5 percent.
Real money is spent first when the bonus is linked to a deposit. Where you hold real money plus a separately activated bonus not connected to your balance, bonus money is wagered first.
Cancelling a bonus before wagering is complete forfeits the bonus and everything won with it. You may withdraw your deposit before meeting the requirement, but the bonus and its winnings are lost.
Free spin abuse clause: if you have not wagered the deposit that earned your free spins at least 3 times, excluding table games, management may cancel the spins and any winnings.
Bonus ratio above 50 percent of deposits is treated as abuse, allowing confiscation and permanent removal of bonus access.
Ireland, Finland and Croatia are excluded from all deposit based bonuses. Sweden is excluded from every promotion, VIP reward and comp point exchange.
Minimal risk betting such as covering red and black simultaneously in roulette, or player and banker in baccarat, does not count toward wagering and risks confiscation.
Note on bonus codes: Promo codes mentioned in this review were accurate at the time of writing but may have changed. For current, verified codes that are checked daily, see our No Deposit Bonus Codes page. If any of the terms above are unfamiliar, our bonus terms decoder explains what each clause means in practice.

📝 Full Review
Bob Casino is operated by N1 Interactive Ltd, a Maltese company with registration number C 81457 and a registered address at 206 Wisely House, Old Bakery Street, Valletta.
That paragraph is the reason this review reads differently from every other casino review on this site.
This is the first MGA licensed casino we have covered
Bob Casino holds Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/B2C/394/2017, issued 1 August 2018, and the terms state that Maltese law applies.
Every other casino in our rankings operates under Curacao, Anjouan, Tobique or, in two cases, a licence that is never named at all. An MGA licence is a different category of thing entirely.
Why this matters more than it might sound. Offshore licences in this market are largely decorative. Anjouan has no meaningful enforcement mechanism. The old Curacao master licence system issued sublicences with almost no oversight. When we tell you a casino holds one of those, we are telling you what the operator claims, not what protects you.
The MGA investigates player complaints, imposes fines and revokes licences. An operator that stops paying players loses its ability to trade. That is real leverage and it sits behind everything else in this review.
The complaints structure, which is the best we have documented
The terms set out an escalation path in full, with contact details:
- Step one: customer support at support@bobcasino.com
- Step two: escalation to management on request
- Step three, after 8 weeks: free referral to the appointed ADR service CasinoReviews.com, with a submission form, a physical address in Ta'Xbiex and the email complaints@casinoreviews.com
- Alternative: direct complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority, with its online form, postal address in Birkirkara and phone numbers
- For EU players: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform
The terms also state explicitly that using the ADR or the MGA does not affect your right to bring proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Compare that with what we have found elsewhere. One casino in our rankings names no dispute body at all and states that its own judgment is final. Another points vaguely at "the gambling authority" without saying which. A third has an unfinished sentence where the governing law should be.
Our complaints guide exists because most offshore casinos give you nowhere to go. Here you have three named routes, and the eight week timeline is written into the terms rather than left to the operator's discretion.
Our test
Author's test: Deposit, play and withdrawal all completed without problems. No verification loop, no unexplained holds, no support runaround.
Now the difficult part: Trustpilot sits at 2.9
That is the lowest score of any casino we would still recommend, and it deserves proper examination rather than either dismissal or panic.
First, who is complaining
Reading the profile, a pattern emerges that changes how the score should be read. Roughly half the negative reviews come from countries Bob Casino does not accept.
The restricted list in the terms includes the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia among many others. Seven of the reviews we examined are from Dutch accounts, one from GB, one from the US.
The terms state plainly that where a player breaches the restricted countries policy, the casino cannot guarantee successful processing of withdrawals or refunds. If you are playing from a jurisdiction the casino does not serve, you are in a position where the operator has written itself an exit.
We are not saying that makes those outcomes fair. Accepting registrations and deposits from a restricted country and then declining the withdrawal is the worst possible sequence. But for a New Zealand or Canadian player outside Ontario, that portion of the negative record does not describe your situation.
Second, what the complaints are actually about
Of the reviews from countries the casino does accept, most are not about payment at all. They are about losing money.
One Canadian described CA$250 and hundreds of spins with no bonus round. Another wrote at length that hitting a thousand to one on a single spin is effectively impossible. A third called the RTP "worst" and said the platform sucks money in. A Bulgarian player complained about win rate and loyalty bonus sizes.
These are variance complaints. Long featureless runs on high volatility slots are a documented property of the games, RTP is set by the certified provider rather than the operator, and the frustration is real even where the conclusion is not supported.
Third, the allegations that do concern us
Three reviews describe specific outcomes that would be serious if accurate, and we set them out rather than burying them.
An Austrian player described depositing around EUR 7,000 and winning EUR 50,000 on Lightning Roulette, stating the win as 100 x 500. They said verification was demanded, they complied, and they were never paid. Austria is not on the restricted list. The casino replied that verification processes exist to protect transactions and asked them to make contact.
A Canadian player reported a CA$10,000 win, completing verification, requesting withdrawal, and then receiving an email about duplicate accounts on the same IP. Their spouse held a separate account in the same household. They said their emails went unanswered and they eventually gambled the balance away.
A New Zealand player claimed NZ$1,000 was withheld despite providing ID, bank statements, card images and matched deposits. They also noted that Woo Casino is a related brand, which is accurate: both are N1 Interactive properties.
We cannot verify any of these from outside, and the casino's replies were generic requests to make contact rather than case specific explanations.
The IP overlap case is worth understanding structurally, because it can happen to anyone. The terms treat duplicate accounts as grounds for termination and reclamation of winnings, and shared household connections produce IP overlap without either person doing anything wrong. If someone else in your home plays at the same casino, tell support in advance and get the acknowledgement in writing. That is true everywhere, not just here.
Fourth, the timeline
Something else stands out when you sort the profile by date. The harshest reviews cluster in 2021 and 2022. The recent ones read differently.
A Canadian in July 2025 described multiple withdrawal options completing in under an hour and seamless deposits. A New Zealander in September 2025 gave three stars: a NZ$40 POLi deposit, fun on Play'n GO, and a site freeze mid spin, with the casino replying asking which slot so it could investigate. A German player in April 2026 gave five stars.
A Canadian who initially complained about verification updated their review to confirm it was approved and the money received in a day.
That is not proof of improvement, and a 2.9 average carries years of accumulated history. But if you are assessing the casino as it operates now, the recent record is more relevant than the 2021 record, and it is meaningfully better.
Withdrawal limits and payments
- Daily: NZ$4,000 / CA$4,000, or EUR 4,000
- Weekly: NZ$10,000, or EUR 10,000
- Monthly: NZ$40,000, or EUR 40,000
- Minimum withdrawal: NZ$10, or EUR 10
- Minimum deposit: EUR 20 or USD 10
Above EUR 40,000 the casino may split payouts into monthly instalments of EUR 20,000 until paid in full.
No fees on any method, deposit or withdrawal. E-wallets, Trustly and Paysafecard process instantly on withdrawal. Cards take 1 to 3 banking days, Interac e-Transfer 1 to 3, bank transfer 1 to 5.
Two limits to plan around: Paysafecard withdrawals cap at EUR 250 per transaction, and bank transfer requires a EUR 500 minimum. Everything else runs up to EUR 4,000 per transaction.
Interac works in both directions for Canadian players, CA$10 minimum on deposit and CA$30 on withdrawal, free and instant on the deposit side.
Verification becomes mandatory once cumulative withdrawals reach EUR 2,000. Submit documents before you get near that figure rather than after.
All deposits must be wagered 3x before withdrawal, applying whether or not you take a bonus. This is standard anti money laundering practice.
Responsible gambling, and one clause worth praising
The MGA mandates player protection tools and it shows. Bob Casino offers a complete self service suite: deposit limits, loss limits, wager limits, session limits, cooling off periods and self exclusion, all set from within your account.
Decreases take effect immediately. Increases require email confirmation and only apply after the previous limit expires, which is specifically designed to prevent rash decisions.
Hourly reality check notifications appear during play showing how much you have spent.
One piece of honesty in the terms deserves specific credit. Most casinos describe a loss limit and leave you to assume it caps your total losses. Bob Casino explains what it actually does, with a worked example: "If for example you deposit €50, set a Loss Limit of €10 and then go on to win €1,000, you can still lose more than €10 of the €1,000 balance as it is based on the initial deposit instead of the winnings."
That is a limitation most operators would prefer you discovered later. Explaining it upfront, with numbers, is the behaviour of a business that expects to be audited.
One process quirk: if you self exclude, you cannot log in to request a withdrawal of a remaining balance. You must email support, who will contact you and assist. The funds are paid, but the route is awkward at exactly the moment a player is trying to disengage.
If you need support independent of any casino, Gambling Helpline NZ and GamCare are free and confidential.
The dormant account clause, which runs in your favour
After 12 months without a login, a EUR 5 monthly maintenance fee begins from month 13, with a reminder email each month.
Then: if the account remains inactive for 30 months, the balance is remitted back to the player.
That is the only casino in our rankings with this provision. Everywhere else the fee simply continues until the balance reaches zero, which at one operator means EUR 50 per month eating a balance in a few months. Here the money comes back to you.
Restrictions worth knowing
Australia is restricted. So is Ontario specifically, along with the Netherlands, the UK, the US and a long list of other jurisdictions. New Zealand and the rest of Canada are not restricted.
Canadian players cannot access NYX or NextGen games. This is stated twice in the terms.
VPN use to access from a restricted region allows account blocking and confiscation of funds.
Politically Exposed Persons are not accepted, with accounts closed and remaining real funds returned.
German players face a 5.3 percent fee on every real money bet, debited at the moment of the bet, plus a EUR 1,000 monthly deposit cap. This reflects German gambling tax passed to the player and does not affect New Zealand or Canadian players.
Verdict
Bob Casino presents the sharpest contrast of any casino we have reviewed. The strongest regulatory position in our entire rankings sits alongside the lowest Trustpilot score we would still recommend.
On one side: a Malta Gaming Authority licence with real enforcement behind it, an operator named down to its Maltese company registration number, three separate named escalation routes including the MGA itself, a complete self service responsible gambling suite, unusually honest disclosure of how loss limits actually work, dormant balances returned rather than consumed, no fees on any payment method, and NZ$40,000 monthly withdrawal limits. Our own test completed cleanly.
On the other: 2.9 on Trustpilot, an unresolved allegation of a EUR 50,000 win never paid, a CA$10,000 confiscation for household IP overlap, and casino replies that too often ask the player to make contact rather than explaining what happened.
Reading the profile carefully changes the picture without erasing the problem. Around half the negative reviews come from countries the casino does not accept, most of the rest are variance complaints rather than payment failures, and the harshest cases date from 2021 and 2022 while the 2025 and 2026 reviews are markedly better.
What tips this to 8.4 is that if something does go wrong here, you have somewhere to go. An ADR provider with a submission form. The Malta Gaming Authority with a phone number. That is not a guarantee, but it is more than any other casino in our rankings offers, and it is the difference between a dispute and a lost cause.
If you play here: verify before cumulative withdrawals approach EUR 2,000, tell support in advance if anyone else in your household plays, skip the bonuses given 40x wagering or set your spin below NZ$8 and never adjust it, avoid Paysafecard for withdrawals given the EUR 250 cap, and if a dispute arises escalate to the ADR after eight weeks rather than continuing to email. Compare against the alternatives in our New Zealand casino rankings.
